Lifestyle photography has many applications, from promotional material and advertising to illustrating a magazine feature or corporate literature. The 2020 photographers are experts at shooting realistic and natural lifestyle images for commercial use. These can range from home lifestyle photography, taken in a specially built room set, to location photography.
The aim is to produce striking images that look natural rather than staged. An essential part of the process is the brief and the preparation. Our photographers will liaise closely with you to ensure they fully understand the sort of images you are looking for. They will then take great pains to set up the shot, focusing on lighting and staging in a natural, realistic way. As always with our photographers, attention to detail is key, and they will be happy to chat through the process with you to make sure you get the images you need.
Lifestyle photography often requires the use of models and we have an excellent relationship with a local modelling company, which allows us to source and book models at cost-effective rates, saving our clients the time and trouble. Our photographers will be happy to choose a model for your shoot or to recommend models for you to choose from and they are CRB checked to work with children. They can also advise on age, gender, ethnicity and look of the model, as well as working with a stylist on the required wardrobe.
Lifestyle photography can also require artworking and digital manipulation to produce the best final shot. Our photographers and designers can digitally alter your images to remove any extraneous detail or enhance colour. They can also produce images in black and white, sepia or with special effects if this fits in with what you are looking for.
