Since the release of the first Kindle in 2007, the debate surrounding printed books and ebooks has been dividing opinions and pitting traditionalists against those who defend the practicality of e-readers. I myself belong to the somewhat sentimental group of traditionalists – I’ve spent years preciously collecting each book I’ve read, creating a personal library of fantastical stories and inspirational characters that I proudly display in my living room. The tactility of the pages and the array of diverse covers are something that cannot be replicated on an electronic device.
That being said, I can appreciate the ease of ebooks and, let’s face it, if more people are reading because of them then all the better. However, I digress.
